Man of Fame
He doesn’t make an entrance — he blooms. Out of a giant flower, into a glass garden of white tigers and painted skies, while she sings the whole world open around him.
A new world in every video. Every release is a song David Deignan wrote — produced anew in a different style, with a music video he creates for it. Rock ’n’ roll one week, a candy world the next. No two alike.

Giant robots crashed in the desert and need the data centers’ power to get home — and the agents in gray suits have to protect the data centers.
Watch full video →A little chef pops out of a giant cake into a world built of cake — tunnels, fly-throughs, and a sweet delight all the way through.
Watch full video →A bubble-helmet spaceman, glowing circuit veins, and three glossy dancers doing the new dance craze. The moves are dubious. So are the dancers.
Watch on Facebook →An orange-desert world of balloon towers and domed cities — a dark whimsical world with pastel colors.
Watch on Facebook →Mal the Pink Muse is inside the computer where the topics keep switching randomly — chasing every one while beating off the viruses.
Watch on Facebook →The same pink muse, front-and-center and singing — working through the viruses to fix the malfunction. A little dark, a little spooky, and cool for it.

Straight-up rock ’n’ roll, giving it twice the feeling every time — guitars, neon stages, and road-trip sunsets.
Worlds built of cake, with 3-D fly-throughs and tunnels — pop songs that arrive as places you can travel through.
Claymation noir, Pixar-style stories, characters with gummy candy stuck to their shoes.
Chrome robots, portal vortexes, a shadow parade of digital illusions — and a pink muse trapped in the machine.
A tumbleweed snowman in the desert southwest, and four masked singers under an orange sky.
An ever-forming market that never stops morphing — stalls, carts, and counters in constant motion.
David Deignan — the songwriter covering his own songbook, and creating a video for every song.
Opusmotif is David Deignan — guitarist, singer-songwriter, and video artist. A one-man studio with tens of thousands of hours of recording and video craft behind him.
The training matches the work: he’s a graduate of the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT), and of Video Symphony, where he studied motion graphics, video techniques, and editing — and he’s worked behind the camera on Hollywood studio projects.
Over the years he’s written more songs than any studio budget could ever finish. So now he’s doing something different: covering his own songbook. Every Opusmotif release is a song David wrote, produced anew — rock ’n’ roll, pop, instrumentals, holiday songs — no two alike, because the songs were never written in one style to begin with.
And every song arrives as a video he creates for it — claymation detectives, candy worlds, a man climbing out of a giant flower. The Cool Music Show is where they all play.
David creates each song from the beginning — the writing is his. Today’s tools carry the production, and he builds the video around what the song wants to be.
Years of songwriting, in every style at once. The songbook came first — long before any of these productions existed.
Each release is that songbook, produced anew. A cover of his own song — in whatever style the song wants this time.
A created video for every song — a new world each time, assembled by the same hands that wrote the music.
